Similar to other Storm HighSpeed services, our Storm HighSpeed
| Cable solution is one that is formed on strategic partnerships,
enabling us to provide the highest levels of service to you
- our customers.
Storm's Cable internet access is currently only available in
Chesterville, Cardinal, Iroquois, Morrisburg, and Winchester
with our partnership with
Persona Communications.
Cable internet access gives you up to 2 Mb/s shared internet
access which is over 50 times faster than a conventional dial-up
modem. You can now surf the internet at blazing speeds without
tying up your phone line. Although this service is not widely
available - especially in the rural areas - it still remains
both reliable and predictable. If you are looking for information

The Storm HighSpeed | Cable solution is perfect for small offices
or residences requiring that require high-speed internet access
at speeds up to 3 Mbps downstream and up to 700K upstream. Using
our GVC HighSpeed modem, you can set up service on an existing
cable line which can still be used for regular cable services.

*Only applies to Non-Persona Subscribers. If you have cable
TV with Persona, you only pay $40 per month plus GST.
**There is a 7 gig monthly throughput limit. Once the 7 gig
has been reached, you will not be charged extra, but your connection
will be reduced to 64K.
*** If
you are hosting a website with a corporate/business package,
you will need to also fill out the forms for the Storm
WebHosting - please mention within the comment box, you
have "hosting included in your package", but you will
still need to specify your domain information. If
you are registering a .com, .net or .org domain name, there
is an additional fee of $15 per year. For .ca domains, the charge
is $50 per year. Please contact

**** You will require a network card for your computer. Standard
network cards are available at all computer stores and are quite
inexpensive. Please contact us if you have any questions and/or
if you would like a sign-up application form. Once we have received
the form, we will contact Persona Cable and let them know that
you would like the service. Persona will call you to set up
an appointment to deliver the modem and set up the service.

1. Where is the cable service available?
The residential cable internet service is no longer available
via Storm Internet. If you are a corporate client you
may be able to get the service in the following areas:
Cardinal, Chesterville, Iroquois, Morrisburg, Winchester.

2. What is the speed of the service?
The cable internet access gives you 2 Mb/s shared internet
access which is over 50 times faster than a conventional
modem. Surf the internet at blazing speeds without tying
up your phone line.
3. What is included in the package?
The service comes with unlimited time online, 5 emails,
and a 5 meg web directory.
4. What is the cost for the modem?
There is a rental charge of $10 per month, however, IF
you are currently a customer with Persona Cable
there is no charge for the modem rental.
5. What is the Installation cost?
The cost of the installation is $80, EXCEPT if you are
currently a customer with Persona Cable the
charge is waived.
