The following is a breakdown of Storm Internet. Included is an overview of our mission, a summary of our services, as well as a timeline of our accomplishments and milestones achieved.


Who We Are | Our Mission

Storm's mission is to provide fast and reliable Internet accesses to business and residential clients supported by superior customer service. In less than six years, Storm has grown to quickly become one of the major ISP's in the greater Ottawa area with approximately 8,000 clients and more than 150,000 end users. As a team committed to supporting and addressing client needs, our growth represents our ability to take our customers interests to heart.


What We Do | Our Services

Storm provides HighSpeed Internet Access to homes, business, and organizations spanning more than 50 communities and municipalities across Eastern Ontario. We offer a variety of Internet solutions including access through Dial-up, DSL, ADSL, cable and fibre, as well as several UNIX and NT hosting packages.

Storm currently operates the largest wireless broadband access network in North America. Spanning over 35,000 square kilometers, stretching from Ottawa-Gatineau through Renfrew, Hawkesbury, and Brockville (see coverage map). This network currently serves over 150,000 business and residential end users locations throughout Eastern Ontario, Canada.

        Feb 2001     - Extension of Wireless Services from Metcalfe to Russell to Casselman, ON
        Sept 2000     - Storm is Acquired by International DataCasting Corporation (TSX:IDC)
        June 2000     - RenfrewNET Turns-On HighSpeed Internet with Storm
        Nov 1999     - Storm develops the Storm Lightning Edition 1 Meg Modem service
        Feb 1999     - New Storm HighSpeed wireless service introduced for business users
        May 1998     - Storm offers ADSL services to corporate clients in greater Ottawa
        May 1997     - Storm upgrades all dialup modems to 56K and X2 HighSpeed
        June 1996     - Storm begins operations in Ottawa, Canada's Capital
