ROAMING (iPASS)

Storm clients can access the Internet when traveling across Canada, the US, or the world. Using iPass you can access the internet from designated modem pools in more than 100 countries with over 60,000 access point. To use iPass™ you must pay an hourly rate (outside the Storm rate) so you can access your email, newsgroups, internet websites, and more.


ANTI-SPAM

Storm Internet uses an Anti-Spam program called SpamAssassin™ for control over email spam to your mailbox. This service identifies spam and removes it from reaching your system by identifying advanced header analysis, text analysis, and blacklists for spam servers.  If you would like to sign up for SpamAssassin™ please log into the Online Support area and click the appropriate link.


WEBMAIL

With every Storm account you receive web-based email that allows you to monitor and access email through a web browser. This free add-on to your internet access accounts allows you to manage email from anywhere you have access to a web browser. Click here for Storm Internet WebMail


NEWSGROUPS

Storm provides access to newsgroups to all its members. We also have a special filter for those people who are concerned about access to "questionable" newsgroups, where they can restrict access based on specified criteria.


USAGE/STATS

If you have a uploaded a web page to your personal web space on a Storm web server, you can check your total disk space allocation as well as the amount of space remaining. Clients can also access site hit stats as well as traffic to and from your website.
