Storm Internet Services expands HighSpeed Connectivity in Carp with Laidlaw Education Services
A unique Private Partnership expands Broadband connectivity in Carp and Surrounding Areas

OTTAWA, ON, October 25, 2004 - Storm Internet Services, Inc. ("Storm") and Laidlaw Education Services ("Laidlaw") have brought HighSpeed Wireless Internet to the Carp and surrounding area through a unique private partnership. Local businesses and residents now have access to Storm's Highspeed Wireless Internet, and other services, as a result of a distribution node now located on top of the Laidlaw building in Carp, Ontario.

"We are excited about expanding our broadband coverage to residents and businesses in the Carp area" said Barry Williams, President of Storm Internet. "Both Storm and Laidlaw recognize the importance of broadband accessibility and its contribution to quality of life in rural communities. We have greatly enjoyed working with Laidlaw, on this particular project, and we look forward to the long term relationship we have started to build," said Williams.

The Storm Wireless "Laidlaw Node" is located on the roof of the Laidlaw building on Cardevco Road. The Laidlaw Node offers a direct line-of-site ("LOS") technology for the provision of HighSpeed Internet to businesses and residents located in an 8km radius of the node. The new Laidlaw Node complements Storm's existing Carp Wireless Highspeed node at the Diefenbunker site.
