Storm Completes new financing round.
Storm Internet Services has inked a new financing deal through a combination of traditional financing and private investment.

OTTAWA, Canada, Aug 29, 2006 - Over the last year Storm has quietly been expanding its services and service areas while investing in new technologies to enhance the customer experience.

"For over the past couple of years, we have been challenged by the high levels of demand for our services. Our growth plans, require much more capital to be available for providing the infrastructure" said Barry Williams, President of Storm Internet. "This new round of financing will help us to roll out new services and service areas much more quickly."

The new financing was a key part of delivering on our expansion plans in 2006 and 2007 said Kevin Preece, Client Services Manager at Storm. Our existing network is being upgraded at this time and is expected to be substantially complete in 2006 which allows us to deliver faster services in the coming year as our network upgrade and expansion rolls out.
